term controls

Expiration and delta filtering options for the term structure view.

dte filtering

The DTE selector defaults to displaying all live expirations simultaneously.

  • Use the multi-select dropdown to isolate specific weekly or monthly maturities.
  • Selecting a subset helps compare near-term event risk against back-month baselines.

series legend

Use the legend at the top right to select each Term delta column. The filter uses the same compact labels as the FDV pane.

  • P10, P20, P30, and P40 control the put-side columns.
  • ATM controls the at-the-money column.
  • C40, C30, C20, and C10 control the call-side columns.

pinning lines to points (term only)

Left-clicking any drawn dot on the Term chart pins a reference line to that specific volatility point. The line tracks the underlying data point dynamically as new stream frames arrive.

[!NOTE]

  • Click Target: Clicks must land within approximately 10 points of a dot. Clicks further away do not register.
  • Line Appearance: Open Colors, then use Horizontal marks to set the color, thickness, and style for each line direction.
  • Double-Click on Dot: Double-clicking a dot toggles the pin on and off without resetting the chart zoom.
  • Persistence: Pinned lines persist with your workspace and automatically drop when their expiration date passes.

For mouse gestures, pan/zoom controls, and reference lines, see snapshot chart navigation.
