Multi-pane layouts, built-in workspaces, header tools, and shared pane controls.

workspace management

skewbot stores workspaces in your browser. A workspace saves the layout, pane splits, tickers, views, DTE selections, and pane settings that you choose.

Workspace: Open a saved workspace.
Create workspace (+): Start a new workspace from the current pane state.
Name field + ✓: Enter a name and create the workspace. Press Enter to confirm.
✕: Cancel workspace creation. Press Escape to cancel.
Save workspace: Save the current pane state to the active workspace. You can also press Ctrl+S or ⌘S.
Delete workspace (🗑): Remove the active workspace.
Reset workspace: Reset the active workspace to one default SPX Tilt pane.

preset workspaces

skewbot includes these built-in workspaces:

Default: One full-day SPX Tilt pane.
regime: Side-by-side full-day Tilt panes for SPX and NDX.
speculator: Two panes with SPY Flex and QQQ Shear.
arbitrageur: Three panes with SPX Curve on top, SPX Tilt below left, and SPX Term below right.
heads-up: Three panes with NDX Flex on top, NDX Tilt below left, and QQQ Flex below right.
vol tradooor: Four panes with NDX Tilt, SPX Tilt, NDX FDV, and SPX FDV.

The top bar contains the workspace and session controls.

Instrument: Apply one ticker to every pane in the active workspace.
Time Span: Apply one time span to the panes in the active workspace.
Workspace: Open a saved workspace.
Layout: Choose one of the 8 pane layouts.
Fullscreen: Toggle fullscreen mode. Press Shift+F to toggle it from the keyboard.
⚙ GEX: Open the global GEX configuration.
Alerts / Muted: Turn alert sounds on or off for the whole app.
Review: Enter or exit review mode.
Date / Load / today: In review mode, choose and load a session, or return to live data.
Colors: Open the chart color and horizontal-mark settings.
Account: Open account management.
Docs: Open the documentation.
More actions (⋯): Open header controls that do not fit in the top bar.

pane layout system

skewbot provides 8 layouts for up to 4 panes:

2 Top + 1 Bottom	Two panes on top, one full-width pane below
1 Top + 2 Bottom	One full-width pane on top, two panes below
2 Left + 1 Right	Two stacked on the left, one full-height pane on the right
1 Left + 2 Right	One full-height pane on the left, two stacked on the right
2×2 Grid	Four panes in a grid

Drag the splitter between panes to resize the layout.

Each pane has one control row above the chart. Depending on the view, the row can include:

ticker selector
view selector
DTE selector
Avg selector on Tilt
view-specific controls, such as full, flip puts, ATM norm, error bars, colors:, reset zoom, or clear pins
reload and reset view on time-series panes
pane time span
pane status (live, waiting, or review)

A narrow pane groups row controls under controls.

Each chart also has a legend in the upper-right corner. Click legend items to show or hide a series.

shared time-series settings

Time-series views share the same basic controls.

time span

Use the time-span selector to choose how much history the pane loads and shows:

30 Min	Short-term intraday context
1 Hour	Standard active-session view
2 Hours	Half-session context
3 Hours	Longer intraday structure
4 Hours	Most of the session
full day	The full trading day

reload

Click reload to request fresh history for the active pane.

reset view

Click reset view or double-click the pane to restore the standard live view.

peaks

Use peaks to show or hide peak markers. This control is available on Flex and Shear.

GEX overlay

Use GEX to show or hide the GEX overlay. After you enable it, use GEX config to change the overlay display. These controls are available on Flex and Shear.

the seven chart types

Use the view selector in the pane row to change the chart type. Each pane keeps its own ticker, view, DTE selection, and pane settings.
