  • dealer C and dealer P toggle quote-derived curves.
  • paper C and paper P toggle trade-derived curves.
  • OTM toggles out-of-the-money contracts.
  • ITM toggles in-the-money contracts.

A narrow pane puts these items in the Legend menu.

identity row settings

  • error bars shows the session high, low, and average values.
  • colors selects the default colors or an expiry gradient.
  • reset zoom restores the automatic chart bounds after you move the view.

Use the legend for OTM and ITM contract filtering.

The gradient options include viridis, plasma, inferno, magma, cividis, and turbo.

dte selection

The DTE selector allows viewing single or multiple expirations simultaneously.

  • Click any expiration date to toggle its curve on the canvas.
  • The arbitrageur workspace automatically selects the front expiry and Friday expiries.

quote spread reading (triangles)

The curve view renders strike-level bid and ask implied volatilities as triangles:

  • Up Triangle (▲): Implied volatility computed from the bid price.
  • Down Triangle (▼): Implied volatility computed from the ask price.
  • The vertical gap between the triangles shows the quoted bid-ask spread width directly around the theoretical curve.

reference markers

  • White Vertical Line: Current spot price of the underlying asset.
  • Gold Dashed Horizontal Line: 30-day average dealer ATM straddle implied volatility from the history service.

For mouse gestures, pan/zoom controls, and reference lines, see snapshot chart navigation.
