Controls & Overlays

Lookback

The lookback slider controls how far back the chart displays. It applies per pane and does not affect live data — only what time range is visible.

Setting Use case
15 min Watching fast intraday moves in real time
30 min Short-term session context
1 hour Standard intraday view
2–3 hours Half-session context
4–7 hours Full session or near-full session

DTE Selector

The DTE (days to expiration) selector filters which expirations are included in the view. Behavior varies by view:

  • Tilt — Single selection, defaults to nearest active expiry (0DTE when available)
  • FDV — Single selection; switch to compare the same delta level across expirations
  • Curve / Term Structure — Auto-populates all live expirations; select one or compare across

Overlay Toggles

Additional data layers can be toggled per pane.

Peaks

Marks local high and low points on the chart. Useful for quickly identifying where a metric hit its session extreme without manually scanning the time series.

GEX

Adds a Gamma Exposure overlay to the Depth view. See Depth → GEX Overlay for a full explanation.

Depth Curvature

Adds a curvature line to the Depth view showing how evenly distributed order book liquidity is across strikes.

Full Convexity

Adds a combined call + put convexity overlay to the Convexity view, representing total smile curvature as a single number.

Theo-Vol Error Bars

Available in the Curve view. Adds uncertainty bands around each strike's implied vol, indicating how reliable the read is based on quote quality. Wider bands mean thinner liquidity at that strike.

Reference Lines

Right-click anywhere on a chart to place a horizontal reference line at that level. Reference lines are useful for marking key vol levels, prior session highs/lows, or target entry points.

  • Right-click an existing line to remove it
  • Lines persist per ticker and view across sessions
  • Multiple lines can be placed on the same chart
